Reverse Channel Letters Fabrication Process
Reverse channel letters are created by routing .090 aluminum into letter shapes, adding .080 aluminum returns (sides), attaching a clear back polycarbonate back, installing LED modules inside the letters, and finishing with paint. These letters are mounted onto buildings and the LEDs create a halo effect by illuminating the background.

Each sign cabinet stands 75" tall. We reinforced the existing pole with welded angle iron and mounted one cabinet on each side of the pylon structure. By positioning the signs perpendicular to oncoming traffic, visibility was dramatically improved—resulting in a noticeable boost in exposure. LED channel letters are crafted with .040 aluminum sides (returns) and 3mm ACM or .063 aluminum backs. Both the backs and acrylic faces are precision-cut using a CNC router. After attaching the returns to the backs, a 1" trim cap is fixed to the faces, which are then secured to the letters with small screws. LED modules, housed within the letters, provide internal illumination. All wiring and power supplies are neatly contained within the raceway, ensuring a clean, professional installation.
